The importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in primary and secondary school English teaching was emphasized, and it was believed that AI tools are the key to improving teaching quality and efficiency. The article points out that AI tools have advantages in processing data, recognizing patterns, and automatic correction, but at the same time, they also have shortcomings in creativity and complex decision-making. Teachers can use AI tools to extract teaching materials, integrate content resources, check student assignments, and transform teaching forms to stimulate students' interest. The form conversion function of AI tools, such as converting discourse into abstract, incorrect form into correct form, and learning points into different exercise forms, provides strong support for teaching.
