Explored the "local concepts" that appear in basic English teaching, which have Chinese characteristics and are difficult to understand internationally. Taking "teaching learning evaluation integration" as an example, there are differences in the understanding of it among educators in different countries. Although these concepts lack clear definitions and structured research, they serve as guiding principles and advocates for teaching practice. The article emphasizes the importance of understanding the historical background and practical needs of these concepts, as well as utilizing them to promote the development of teaching knowledge. At the same time, it is pointed out that the implementation of "teaching learning evaluation integration" requires specific knowledge support and cannot be limited to the conceptual level.
